About Albert Coombes

Albert Coombes is an up and coming stand-up comedian hailing from Saint Lawrence, Newfoundland. Currently living in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, you can find this charming, weird, giant all over the Maritimes making strangers snicker and guffaw over his surreal and wildly witty jokes.

  Albert started comedy in 2019 and has quickly become a regular comic at Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club, the Comedy Cove, and open mics across HRM. In 2020 he was a finalist for the HubCap/CBC Open Mic Contest and a semi-finalist in 2022 for Boca Tapas Bar Last Comic Standing. Albert also participated in the 2019 and 2020 48 Hour Film Fesival, co-writing and starring in his short films and will be appearing in Eastlink's new series, The Last Divide, airing February 2022.
